Our Custom Home Building Process

Preparation

To make sure your dream home is everything you want it to be, we work with you every step of the way. Before we start our design process, we’ll discuss your budget, your preferred building location, and your desired move-in date.

Our team of experts, designers, and architects will then create a plan with a detailed and honest budget for your project. We’ll then make any necessary adjustments and set a deadline for your home’s completion.

Design

Inspiration

We start our process by looking at some of our previous projects to get you some inspiration for your dream home. You can pick and choose elements from one of our past projects, customize one of our sample floor plans, or we can create a brand new floor plan from scratch.

Exterior Design

Next, you’ll need to choose the exterior design elements for your home’s exterior. Our crews are experienced with brick laying, vinyl siding, masonry, stonework, and more. At this step of the process you can select other exterior finishes like paint colors, roofing styles, front door design, shutters, shingles, gutters, downspouts, garage doors, and more.

Interior Design

For the interior of your custom Tennessee home, we can select interior design elements at either the beginning of the planning phase or wait until after the drywalling process is complete. Either way, you have full control of selecting your stylings for the flooring, tile, countertops, cabinets, cupboards, bathrooms, backsplashes, fixtures, and more.

Final Steps

Finally, once the interior custom building process is complete, your home will be inspected to make sure it meets state and material code requirements for a home in Middle Tennessee. Then, once all of the furnishings are in place, we’ll do a final walk-through with you to ensure your custom-built home is everything you wanted it to be.

With all of the ‘t’s” crossed and the “i’s” dotted, your custom home is all yours.
